What's your favorite form of creative expression?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 24, 2008:
I love to sing to all kinds of music. Every now and then a poem likes to pop out of me. I think my most creative expression is in helping others, in whatever capacity is needed. I enjoy being a part of anything that brings joy and a sense of clean and light. I recently had a friend who wanted to sell his motorcycle. He had to leave town but I knew he wanted to get this Harley cleaned. So I did for him as a surprise and I found it to be so fun, cleaning the dirt away to reveal the shine and beauty. It was somewhat therapeutic for myself.

I love to sing, too, but I cannot carry a tune! But listening to music is my best form of therapy and the best way to lower my blood pressure.
I never thought of helping others as being creative before. You're right, though. This past weekend while Tim and I were staying with my dad so my sister and brother-in-law could get away for a break, we surprised my sister by taking everything out of her large corner china cabinet, cleaning behind it and inside of it and cleaning all the glass and pottery inside of it. We put it all back together, arranged as aesthetically pleasing as we could make it. It was sparkling clean and something she had been wanting done for ages, but never had the time. It did feel great. Giving as creating - I love the idea. Thanks!
