What does it mean to be a saint?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 28, 2008:
To be a saint is having the strength and understanding of one's purpose to bring about the messages for others to heed. I believe putting someone at the level of a saint almost puts them as better than others and I do not believe in doing so, for we are all special. There are those who are teachers, however, they remain students as well, for they will always be learning.
We can all be those messengers, those saints who simply understand and help others to transition to a better way of life for themselves.
